οὐ ξυνιᾶσιν ὅκως διαφερόμενον ἑωυτῷ ὁμολογέει· παλίντροπος ἁρμονίη ὅκωσπερ τόξου καὶ λύρης
Men do not know how what is at variance agrees with itself. It is a harmony of opposite tensions, like that of the bow and the lyre.
