δοκέοντα γὰρ ὁ δοκιμώτατος γινώσκει, φυλάσσει· [καὶ μέντοι καὶ] Δίκη καταλήψεται ψευδῶν τέκτονας καὶ μάρτυρας
The most esteemed of them knows — holds fast to — fancies. Justice shall overtake the artificers of lies and the false witnesses.

[ Hide commentary ]This fragment really seems to be two fragments that Clement has linked together. With Robinson, I do not think that these two fragments should be put together. The phrase in brackets seems to have been added by Clement to connect these two fragments; it has been left out of the translation.
